Google Drive And Microsoft Office For Mac
LibreOffice is totally free. It is very similar in design to Microsoft Office, with some minor differences in the design.
Is there a workaround to this or is it unique to Office for Mac 2016 and Google Drive? I want to collaborate on documents with my co-workers without changing the filenames every time. Microsoft products are designed to favour the Microsoft OneDrive alternative. I would also avoid working on documents directly in ANY of the cloud drives. If, at any time, you’re not sure whether you’re working in a Word-formatted file or a Google Docs-formatted file, tap on the menu button (three vertical dots). You can add Google Drive to Microsoft Office now. It can save you time, particularly if you’re saving files in Office formats inside Google Drive. I’ve tested the setup. Here’s a screencast to get started.

The Drive suite competes poorly against its Microsoft counterparts in several key aspects. However, it also has some functionality that Office does not have.
