Well I D/Led my copy of QP2017 the other day, installed and ran it. However, at $29.99, now we’re talking $300 over 10 years – which is on par with what Quicken users have been paying for the last 10-15 years anyway with required upgrades. This feature is not in Mac 2017. Until this is fixed I will not switch over to Mac 2017. But I am encouraged enough that I will probably discontinue the Windows version and just switch to Mac 2017 in the near future. QM2007 (LC version v16.2.4, just updated in June 2016) still runs quite well on Mac OS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard up to and including 10.12 Sierra. I have reconnected to every institution and uninstalled and reinstalled the program, shared my screen with tech support and put them in touch with the Quicken person for my primary bank. Once it started working again for no good reason, but has now quit again.

Smayer97 Though it is true that there are many challenges with online connectivity with Financial Institutions (FI) and Banks, this statement lacks context. First, there are 3 methods of connectivity between Quicken and the FIs/Banks. There is Direct Connect, Quicken Connect and Web Connect. Direct Connect is communication directly between Quicken software and the FI/Bank. Has virtually no involvement in this connection method. When there are problems here, much of the problems are most often the bank side.

The kicker was that the mobile app can only handle one file. I use 3 different files, one for home, one for work, and one for a separate escrow account. The Banktivity mobile app gives me access to all three files on my iPhone. Quicken cannot do it. While trying Quicken, Banktivity came out with a big update, version 6. So, I am good staying with Banktivity.
