Anyone has encountered this problem? Anybody found a solution that worked? Hi, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. We understand the inconvenience caused and will assist you. To assist you better, I would like to ask what steps were taken to solve the issue.

Let me know if this helps out at all. We are still running XD 5.6 so I haven't tested on 7.6 yet to see if there are any changes. I'd guess it's the same, or very similar. Thank you for helping with this and sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this, but I was pulled away on something else and now I am back to this. This helped tremendously and it sets up every time but I still have two issues and the first is that white box comes up every time. Did anyone find a solution to that? Two is that when the user goes to do the volume check it comes back consistently too high.

The PowerMic II becomes non-functional, even though it appears to be 'On' according to the icons on the desktop (a small microphone icon stays green instead of red). After this, no USB services are available through the view client.

Microphone sleep/on Toggles the microphone between On and Sleep mode. Press-to-talk Turns the microphone on while pressed; turns the microphone off when released. Note: After you release the button, Dragon keeps recording until you stop speaking, which can affect your transcribed text. To avoid problems, hold the button until you have stopped speaking, then release it and remain quiet for a moment.

What I am hazy on is your registry settings. Are they done in GP (see attached where red arrow is at) under user policies for the VDI, or are they done on the end device. I am assuming the registry values are put in via group policy. And does receiver 4.2 go on the VDI or end device or both? This is for xendesktop 7.6 TIA for any help. Here is everything we did for redirecting the PowerMic II.

Please get back to us with the status for further assistance.

Problem: With the PowerMic II attached, when Dragon Medical is launched I receive an error message that the audio device is not recognized and no audio device is available. Device manager shows the PowerMic II attached AND recognizes it is that model. It is not just a USB device. However, inside of Dragon Medical/Power Chart it appears as a USB mouse. It's true the PowerMic II has a pointer feature but I'm interested in the microphone part. The PowerMic II does not have any external drivers. And it does not work on the Mac natively.
